Guru Teg Bahadur Public School has started under the name of Ninth Guru, Guru Teg Bahadurji Who was a prophet as well as a martyr. His life and message have a wide universal meaning. To standup for the rights of the others and to go to the extent of sacrificing one's life to secure their freedom and justice as did Guru Teg Bahadur ji has a deep impact on the history of India. His Martyrdom at that time brought about widespread moral and social patriotism. For his sacrifice Guru Teg Bahadur Ji is remembered as "Hind Ki Chadar" i.e. The Protector of the honour of India.
Infrastructure and Facilities
Speaking in English is compulsory for each student in the campus except the 2nd and 3rd Language classes. Further to it, personality development classes are also held for up gradation of their communication skills.
The school has provided a spacious and wll stocked library offering a quiet study environment to all students with text book, reference books, journals and magazines in all disciplines. The reading premises attached to the library gives the ideal atmosphere to the students to read the books.
We take personal care to each student and the infrastructure of our institute. It means that each students will be benefitted by individual attention during the time with us. This attention includes personal tutoring, welfare and career counseling apart from the regular academic interactions. Seminar, debate, sports and cultural events make enough of sense for those who join the institute. Further, our faculty operates an open door policy and all are available to help with any academic problems.
Our teachers are our greatest asset. They are well qualified and with extensive teaching experience in their respective discipline. The excellent result in the examination is due to constant dedicated effort by our staff. Our teachers are kept up to date with the latest pedagogical development to help students maximize learning.
Whole school campus is fully backed by captive power avoiding power interruptions by school's own generator.
Effecting learning occurs while facilities are extended and the adequate uses of resources occur systematically. To facilitate "Learning by Doing" and for better comprehension, field work and laboratory work are taken up. The complete layout of the laboratories are as per norms of C.B.S.E. New Delhi.
The well equipped spacious Physics lab is an asset of the school. The tables are connected with good electrical wirings and network. The instruments are new and errorless. These instruments are being checked by the teachers and the lab attendant at regular interval.
This lab is undoubtedly an asset of the school. the tables are made of granite with embedded was basins. All the tables are well connected with gas-line and waterline. The equipments are of best quality. The chemicals are fresh with expiry dates and collected from the recognised company.
The laboratory is arranged with the adequate materials. Charts and models are there to develop interest on the subject.
The school is having a well designed computer hub with 50 computers of latest configuration. Thge computers are connected by LAN with broadband connection. The room is completely air conditioned and dust free and students from class I to XII are making them computer proficient.
