Our House System is a service-cum training organization. Our entire student population is divided into four houses under the names of four Princes of Guru Gobing Sing Ji :

BABA AJIT SINGH HOUSE (BASH)           RED HOUSE

BABA JHUJAR SINGH HOUSE (BJSH)       GREEN HOUSE

BABA ZORAWAR SINGH HOUSE (BZSH)   BLUE HOUSE

BABA FATEH SINGH HOUSE (BFSH)        YELLOW HOUSE

Each house is-headed by a house master / mistress and house caption.

The purpose of our house-system are as follows :
  • To promote the welfare of the students.

  • To promote better student-teacher relationship.

  • To furnish citizenship training.

  • To encourage self-discipline.

  • To arouse greate school spirit.

  • To impart training in the skill of management and leadership.
House shall perform the following duties on rotation :
  • To manage the Morning Assembly.

  • To write ‘Thought for the day’ on the black-board meant for the pupose.

  • To give thought, extremepore speech and news in the assembly.

  • To help, maintain order during recess period.

  • To check students uniforms.
Disciplinary Rules
  • Pupils must attend assembly which begins, at 7.25 a.m. Those who come after 7.20 a.m. must report with valid reason for their being late to the Discipline-in-charge before they go to their classes.

  • Students are on their way to and from school are expected to report themselves in a responsible manner.

  • All students must converse in English while in school and when wearing school uniform even outside the school – premises. Students who converse in other than English language are liable to be punished.

  • Students are strictly forbidden to leave the school premises during regular School hours without the permission of the Principal / Leave-in-Charge.

  • Special attention must be adhered to maintain a high standard of morality and discipline in the school. Parents are requested to cooperate with the school authorities in this regard.

  • Students must observe absolute silence and discipline while in class room and in the school Library.

  • When regular period is over for the day students must come out from the class rooms in line and chaos must be avoided. They must ensure that the fans and lights are switched off and doors and windows of the class rooms in line and chaos must be avoided.   • Late arrival to school is a breach of discipline. A student who comes late to school must enter the date and time of arrival into the record of late arrival in school under ‘late’.

  • Three late arrivals will result in Parents being called to office of Principal. Five late arrivals will invoke suspension from the school.

Library Discipline And Rules
  • Absolute silence and discipline must be maintained in the Library.

  • A Student must have his library card and entry card to enter the library. These cards are not exchangeable.

  • Students will be awarded grades on the basis of their behaviour in the library. A record of these grades will be maintained by the Librarian.

  • Books must be returned or renewed in time. A fine of Re. 1 per day is imposed, if books are not returned in time from the date of issue.

  • All articles and personal belongings must be left out side when entering the Library. Only a copy-book and library book, if to be returned, may be taken into the Librayr with permission of the librarian.

  • The students who misbehave may not be allowed to avail reading facilities.

  • Students must not bring their school bags, water bottles etc inside the Library. These will be kept out of library.

  • Normally books are issued for seven days and students can retain the books for not more than 14 days in any case for once.

  • Books lost must be informed to the librarian immediately Either the borrower has to replace the book or will have to pay thrice the printed price of the book available in the market.

  • The borrower must examine the physical condition of the book at the time of issue. If he or she finds any damage he / she should bring it to the notice of the Librarian immediately before leaving he Library. Otherwise the borrower will be held responsible for the noticed damage.

  • In case of willfull damage to library property heavy fines will be imposed on the students to prevent such cases.

  • Extreme miss-conduct in the Library may result in expulsion from school or suspension from school, for a specified period as decided by the school authorities.

  • Students are asked to take prior permission from the Librarian for availing facility at unscheduled time.

  • Books exclusively for consultation are not to be taken out of the Library. They remain available to all students all the time.

  • All magazines, reference book or books used while in the library must be put back in the proper place after reading.

  • A remark will be entered in the library of the School Almanac for every book returned late. Three such remarks will result in the withdrawal of the lending of card and fine of Rs. 50/- may imposed.

  • No fine will be charged for books overdue if a letter can be produced showing that the borrower has been absent for valid reasons.

  • Library cards are distributed once a year, in April. There are two cards (a) Library Entry Card (b) library Lending Card. Library Entry Card is to enter the Library and Library Lending Card is to borrow a book. A lost card may be replaced by a new but a fine of Rs. 50/- will have to be paid to the office.

  • No books may be retained during summer vacation.

Wearing of clean and proper school uniform is compulsory on all working days. Samples of uniform are available in the school.

  2. FOR BOYS :
    1. Classes I to V
      1. During Summer : a) White shirt half sleeves with stiff collar and school logo in the pocket b) Steel Grey shorts c) School tie and belt d) Black laced polished shoes and plain white socks with elastic that holds tight e) For sikh boys steel grey patka (Dustar).
      2. During Winter : a) White shirt full sleeves with stiff collar and school logo in the pocket b) Steel grey trousers are compulsory after Puja Vacation c) School tie and belt d) Black laced shoes and plain white socks with elastic that holds tight. Shoes must be polished daily e) For sikh boys steel grey patka f) Grey coloured pullover with plain knitting (V type neck) g) Grey cap / muffler if required.
      3. On Wednesday & Saturday : a) Respective House T-shirt. After Puja Vacation full sleeves white shirt with stiff collar instead of house T-shirt, School tie & badge b) White trousers c) White simple laced canvas shoes and white plain socks d) For sikh boys white patka.
    2. Classes VI to XII
      1. During Summer : a) White shirt half sleeves with stiff collar and school logo in the pocket b) Steel Grey trousers c) School tie d) Black leather laced polished shoes and plain white socks with elastic that holds tight e) For sikh boys steel turban.
      2. During Winter : a) Students should wear white shirt full sleeves with stiff collar in addition to the above prescribed uniform (b,c,d & e) f) Grey coloured prescribed uniform (b,c,d & e) g) Grey coloured pullover with plain knitting (V type neck) h) Grey cap / muffler if required i) FOR CLASSES XI & XII – School Blazer : Navy blue in colour, single breasted having two plain metallic steel buttons with school monogram.
      3. On Wednesday & Saturday : a) Respective House T-shirt. After Puja Vacation full sleeves white shirt with stiff collar instead of house T-shirt, School tie & badge b) White trousers c) White simple laced canvas shoes and white plain socks d) For sikh boys white turban.
  3. FOR GIRLS
    1. Classes I to VII
      1. During Summer : a) White shirt half sleeves with stiff collar and school logo in the pocket b) Steel Grey peated skirt with length of 1" below the knees. c) School tie & belt and badge. d) Plain lack school shoes and white plain socks with elastic that holds tight e) Black hair bands or ribbons.
      2. During Winter : a) Students should wear white shirt full sleeves with stiff collar in addition to the above prescribed uniform (b, c, d & e) f) Grey coloured pullover with plain knitting (V type neck) g) Grey scarf / cap if required
      3. On Wednesday & Saturday : a) Respective House T-shirt. After Puja Vacation full sleeves white shirt with stiff collar instead of house T-shirt, School tie & badge b) White pleated skirt with a length of 1" below the knees c) White simple laced canvas shoes and white plain socks d) White hair bands.
    2. Classes VIII to XII
      1. During Summer : a)Steel grey kameez with school logo in the pocket b) White salwar c) White dupatta d) Plain black school shoes and white plain socks that holds tight. shoes must be polished daily d) School badge f) Black hair bands.
      2. During Winter : Students hould wear grey coloured cardigan with grey buttons in addition to he above prescribed uniform (b, c, d, e & f) g) Grey scarf if required h) FOR CLASSES XI & XII- School Blazer : Navy blue in colour, single breasted having tow plain metalic stel buttons with school monogram.
      3. On Wednesday & Saturday : a) White Salwar Kameez with respective house coloured dupatta. ) Simple white laced canvas shoes and white plain socks c) School badge d) White hair band.
* NOTE : MEHENDI, KAJAL, BINDI , NAIL POLISH AND ORNAMENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
